Stylish plywood desk
Birch Plywood Hairpin Desk, With Hardwearing Laminated Formica Top And Hairpin Legs.

These desks are made from high-quality birch plywood with a Formica laminated top surface. With the ply grain visible at the edges, these are simple and beautiful desks, perfect for those on a budget but who demand high quality. The laminated top is flat, hard-wearing, and easy to wipe clean. Ideal for your home or office. Made from Ethically sourced FSC-certified wood, locally sourced from the UK.
Standard legs are all solid steel and available as 'black' which is powder coated or 'raw' which is untreated exposed steel (metallic), raw legs will weather and rust over time without re-oiling.

All our items undergo several sanding processes and are finished with stunning hardwax oils, mixed with our custom blend of pigments. These create a lovely timeless look to all our pieces.

If for any reason you do wish to return you item we gladly accept these and would process a full refund once we'd received the items back, if contacted within 14 days, we can't accept returns on customised items.

Don't worry, most of our items just require a screwdriver to fix the legs to the tops, at most an electric screwdriver and an Allen key (if required these are mentioned in the product listing)

Having moved our old desk to the spare room to work from home on, we ordered this to make a social hub to play music from at the centre of the home.
Joshua was really helpful with helping me with a bespoke order. I found his customer service support fantastic.
This table was cut slim for us and the large shelf that was left will be used later to replace the white cupboard just as soon as I find the right brackets.
This was a bespoke order. Paid a little extra.
The cut was clean and tidy, you wouldn't know it was in fact cut down.

I asked for a mod on the table to cut a slice off to make it into a monitor shelf and they were very obliging.
Unfortunately packaging on the corner was not quite good enough and there was courier damage on one of the corners and a tiny scratch on the Formica.
Contacted them and they were very apologetic - even though mostly FedEx's fault - gave me a part refund.
Very happy with the desk - massive improvement on my last one.

Love our new desk. After having to work from home on a sofa and coffee table we now have a lovely new desk space. Really easy to assemble and quick delivery and looks perfect in the new office.
For VERA and LUDWIG tables we would recommend getting a bench 25cm shorter than the table to give allowance for the leg spacing.
For ASPA and LEON tables we would recommend getting a bench at least 31cm shorter.
An uneven edge is something we come across on some of our reclaimed boards, they give the edge of the table a unique curve and form. It's available on our customisation listing.
It shouldn't need much looking after! The surface is hard wearing, and can be cleaned with normal surface cleaners.
Touch ups to damaged areas can be made with a little Fiddes Hard Wax Matt Oil, we sell kits here.
